Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, in Pacific County, State of Washington, there will be a Special Election for
submission to qualified voters regarding the following:
Current Election Issues
Port of Chinook – Proposition No. 1 – Elimination of Port Commission Electoral Districts
Ocosta School District No. 172 – Proposition No. 1 – Replacement
Educational Programs and Operations Levy
Pacific County Fire Protection District No. 1 – Proposition No. 1 - Board of Commissioners - Emergency Medical Services Property Tax Levy
Voter Registration Deadlines
February 2nd – The deadline to receive new registrations and voter
updates online and by mail.
February 10th – Deadline for in-person registration and voter updates. You must do so in person at the County Auditor's Office by 8:00 p.m., at 300 Memorial Drive, South Bend.
Registering to Vote
By mail - Print a voter registration form from voter.votewa.gov or contact the Auditor's Office at 360-875-9317
In-person – At the County Auditor's Office at 300 Memorial Dr, South Bend, or the Auditor's Office at 7013 Sandridge Rd, Long Beach.
Online – go to voter.votewa.gov
Ballots will be mailed to all active voters, 18 days before the election.
If you do not receive your ballot, please contact the Auditor's Office at 360-875-9317 to obtain a replacement ballot or print a replacement
ballot online at voter.votewa.gov
Ballot Drop Box Locations
The following ballot drop box locations are available 24 hours a day beginning January 21, 2026 and closing promptly at 8 pm on Election Night February 10, 2026. No postage is needed.
North County
Raymond - Pacific County Department of Public Works at 211
Commercial St
South Bend - Pacific County Courthouse at 300 Memorial Dr
Tokeland/Shoalwater Bay - Tribal Court Building at 2373 Tokeland Rd
South County
Naselle - Washington State Patrol Office at 797 State Route 4
Chinook - Chinook Community Center at 810 US Highway 101
Long Beach - Pacific County Administration Facility at 7013
Sandridge Rd
Ocean Park - Senior Center at 21603 O Pl
We recommend dropping your ballot in one of our secure drop box
locations. If you choose to mail your ballot instead, ballots come with prepaid postage, so no stamp is necessary. Don't be late! Mail early so that your ballot is postmarked on or before Election Day, February 10, 2026.
Accessibility Information
Accessible voting equipment is available at the South Bend Auditor's Office, 300 Memorial Drive, beginning January 21st, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and on Election February 10th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Meeting Notices
Pacific County Elections will begin canvassing Monday, January 26th at 9:30 a.m., and each day thereafter as necessary until 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026.
The Canvassing Board will meet to review and rule on the validity of questioned or challenged ballots on Thursday, February 19th at 10:00 a.m. and again on Friday, February 20th, at 1:00 p.m. to certify the
election results.
The official Logic and Accuracy test of the vote tallying system took place on Thursday, January 15th at 2:00 p.m.
The Random Batch Audit will take place on Thursday, February 12th at 1:00 p.m.
The above meetings will be held in the Elections Room at the Auditor's Office, located at, 300 Memorial Dr, South Bend.
This notice is published in accordance with RCW 29A.60.140, RCW 29.60.160 and RCW 42.30.080.
