CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION CASE NO. CUP 2025-03.
Notice is hereby given that WWEST Communications of Rosburg,
Washington filed an application for a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT on October 3, 2025. The applicant seeks approval for the use of a resort/conference complex and arts center. These uses are allowed under a Conditional Use Permit both in the Old Town West and the Shoreline Resort zones. This request is specifically for a
multi-programmatic business facility centered around a meeting space and arts center. The application was deemed complete, and a
determination of completeness was issued on October 23, 2025.
The general location of the properties are: 809 Ocean Beach Blvd S and 298 9th ST SW, LONG BEACH, PACIFIC COUNTY, WASHINGTON, 98631. A completed application and fee have been submitted and are
available for review at Long Beach City Hall, 115 Bolstad Street West, Long Beach, WA 98631.
Any person desiring to express his or her views or to be notified of the action taken on this application should notify the City of Long Beach, Department of Community Development, P.O. Box 310, Long Beach, WA 98631 in writing. Written comments must be received no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.
The City of Long Beach Hearing Examiner will hold a Public Hearing on this application at 2:00 pm or soon thereafter on Friday, November 21, 2025. Any person wishing to make a public comment may do so by
attending the meeting in-person or via Zoom, the link will be provided at the end of this notice. Decisions by the Hearing Examiner may be subject to a closed record appeal to the City Council by a party of record. The notice of appeal must be filed within fourteen (14) calendar days after the date of the decision and must contain a statement
identifying the decision being appealed, the name and address of the appellant and the appellant's standing, the specific reason(s) why the appellant asserts the decision is in error, and the desired outcome or changes to the decision. Upon filing an appeal, the appellant must pay a fee of $400.00.
