NOTICE TO PUBLIC

The Pacific County Elections Department hereby provides notice to the public regarding upcoming changes to ballot materials and
election results reporting.
Beginning with the August 4, 2026 Primary Election, the State of Washington has enacted a new law requiring all counties to use a uniform ballot envelope. As a result of this statewide requirement, there will be significant changes to the appearances and layout of ballot envelopes used in the elections moving forward. While the ballot envelope will look different from prior elections, the voting process and ballot content remain unchanged.
In addition, the election results reporting website has changed, in accordance with guidance from the Washington Secretary of State's Office. The County will now be utilizing a software system known as Enhanced Voting for election results reporting. As in past elections, a link to access election results will be posted to the County's
website for public access.
These updates are intended to ensure statement consistency,
compliance with state requirements, and continued transparency in the election process.
