Pacific County Auditor's Office has an opening for a Temporary Junior Accountant or Temporary Accountant in the South Bend office. Work hours will be between 30-40 hours, Monday through Friday, not to exceed longer than 5 months, with lunch and breaks in accordance with state law.
Applicants should possess the ability to be well organized, to work with minimal supervision, pay close attention to detail, have good communication skills, have the ability to stay calm during stressful situations, have excellent customer service skills and be a team player.
Junior Accountant - Grade 15
Hourly range is $21.02 - $27.72
Minimum qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration, and experience in performing bookkeeping operations; OR demonstrated equivalent combination or education and/or experience that provides the applicant with attributes defined in section 6.0.
Accountant - Grade 19
Hourly range is $24.14 - $31.81
Minimum qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with knowledge equivalent to a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration, plus two (2) years working experience as a Junior Accountant; OR demonstrated equivalent combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with attributes defined in Section 6.0
A valid Washington State Driver's License is required as is the ability to pass a criminal background check.
Benefits such as medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance and retirement are not included in this position.
Temporary employees will receive 1 hour of sick leave per every 40 hours worked, pursuant to the Washington State Paid Sick Leave Policy.
