SOUTH COUNTY ROAD DRAINAGE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN I
Pacific County Department of Public Works is now accepting applications for a full-time Drainage Maintenance Technician I (DMT I) position in South County.
Job Title: DMT I
Salary: Grade 119 – $27.74 – $38.39 per hour D.O.E.
Union Status: Local 367
Location: 318 2nd Street NE, Long Beach, WA 98631
Close Date: Open Until Filled
Minimum Qualifications: High School Graduate or G.E.D Certification, with a minimum of two (2) years' experience in construction and heavy equipment operation; or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum of twelve (12) months experience as a Road Maintenance Technician II with Pacific County or equivalent experience. Must have a valid Washington State Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class "A" without brake restriction, a current Flagging Certificate and must have or have the ability to obtain Basic First Aid/CPR Certificate. The employee must be a citizen of the United States of America and a minimum of 18 years of age.
Essential Job Duties: Frequently operates heavy equipment, including, but not limited to excavator, back hoe, loaders, mowers, etc. Performs manual labor commonly encountered in installation of culverts, drainage structures, manholes, catch basins.

Employees are able to enroll in a deferred compensation plan as well as the Washington State Department of Retirement Systems. Employees will also receive annual and sick leave, as well as 12 paid holidays.
